Brunswick Instrumentation are agents in the UK for particulate monitors from DynOptics Systems Ltd.

Dynoptics

Dynoptic Systems manufacture and supply a range of continuous particulate and opacity monitors.
Large combustion processes, such as power, cement manufacture, metal processing and refining have the potential of emitting significant quantaties of particulates.

An opacity monitor (sometimes known as smoke or obscuration monitors) can assist in indicating the particulate concentration. This is often required for environmental reasons, or for controlling abatement techniques.

All monitors from Dynoptic Systems offer:

Typical applications for DynOptics particulate monitors:

SML-200 Opacity Monitor

A cost effective monitor to indicate opacity.

For applications where an indicative measuring is required, such as the simpler combustion processes or monitoring of abatement units for control or failure.
Features
  • Choice of readings - opacity, Ringelman, transmission, extinction (log or linear)
  • Single point calibration

DSL-2000 and DSL-5000 Particulate monitors

Designed for monitoring of smoke stacks to comply with environmental concentration. Both models share a common design of the sampling heads. The DSL-2000 has a weatherprooof enclosure, the DSL-5000 has a 19in rack control unit for control room mounting.
Features
  • To form part of an comprehensive, regulatory monitoring systems
  • Stable operation due to the optical 'Dynamic Detection Principle' using solid state light sources
  • Suitable for flue gas temperatures to 1100degC
  • Can be calibrated against an iso-kinetic reference method to give output as mgm-3
  • Wide dynamic range - 0.001 to 9999 mgm-3
